POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Verifies and keeps records of incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties.
II. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Inspects incoming raw materials to verify accuracy of quantity, quality, and loading specifications.
· Initiates reports detailing information on incoming raw materials.
· Generates reports detailing information on outbound shipments. Logs inbound and outbound shipments on reports.
· Compiles records of commodities and enters information for MIC reports.
· Verifies completeness and accuracy of information.
· Oversees traffic and parking in the yard.
· Complies with all environmental, health, safety and housekeeping programs.
· Performs other duties, as assigned or deemed necessary.
III. PRE-HIRE REQUIREMENTS:
· Ability to prioritize workload and apply individual judgment, as required.
· Exceptional recordkeeping and organizational skills .
· Strong math aptitude, detail-oriented with accuracy and speed.
· Familiarity with shipping/receiving operations.
· Proficient computer and keyboarding skills; prefer Excel and Word.
· Exceptional interpersonal communications skills; written and verbal.
· Good attendance, reliability record.
· Must be able to work any shift in 24/7 operations.

V. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to toxic or caustic chemical and risk of electrical shock. The employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment.
