Security Manager implements security strategy, policies, and standards to ensure the physical safety of all visitors, employees, or customers to the organization's facilities and the security of property and assets. Conducts regular audits and inspections to assess, identify, and mitigate any security vulnerabilities or gaps. Being a Security Manager trains staff and establishes operational plans for crisis response, disaster recovery, evacuation, workplace violence, and other emergency events. Monitors and inspects systems, alarms, and other physical security measures. Additionally, Security Manager participates in education programs and contributes to communications on security policies and topics to ensure staff is adequately informed and equipped to manage potential security issues. Engages with local, state, provincial, or federal authorities to keep abreast with all security-related information, directives, and events. Initiates or assists with investigations and critical event responses in coordination with law enforcement and other officials or agencies. Understands law enforcement methods, tactics, and procedures. Requires a bachelor's degree in law enforcement, criminal justice, security, or related discipline. Typically reports to a director. The Security Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Security Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Benefits:

    Salary: 

    $105,000-$120,000

    • This position is eligible to participate in the Signode annual bonus program with a target of 10% of base salary.

    Summary

    The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the organization. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the organization's efficiency, productivity, and the achievement of its objectives.

    Essential Functions

    • Manage and lead a team of staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to enhance team productivity.
    • Develop and implement operational strategies and plans to achieve the organization's goals.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve operations.
    • Analyze existing processes and identify areas for improvement.
    • Implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Allocate and manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet the organization's operational requirements.
    • Establish and maintain quality control standards to ensure products or services meet the organization's expectations.
    • Implement quality assurance processes and corrective actions as needed.
    • Oversee inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining stock levels.
    • Minimize wastage and ensure inventory accuracy.
    • Develop and manage budgets for the organization's operational expenses.
    • Control costs and ensure the efficient use of resources.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Stay informed about changes in regulations and adjust operations accordingly.
    • Maintain clear and effective communication with other departments and senior management within the organization.
    • Collaborate with different teams to streamline processes and achieve common goals for the organization.
    • Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
    • Create contingency plans for unforeseen challenges within the organization

    Position Qualifications

    Education:

    • High School Diploma
    • Bachelor’s degree in business management, operations management, or a related field preferred

    Experience:

    • 5-7 years of experience in operations with a track record of progressively increasing responsibilities
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for operations management.
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
