Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Typically requires Firearms Certification. May require a Security Guard License. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Security Guard - Armed works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. - Actively prevent illegal or inappropriate actions by maintaining a high visibility presence and enforcing security measures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must possess a valid Security Guard License.
- Minimum of 3 years of security experience.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
- Prior security or law enforcement experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and respond quickly in emergency situations.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods.
