Job Title: Senior Paid Search Specialist

Location: Hybrid position with in-office work in Charleston, Columbia or Greenville

Job Description:

The Senior Paid Search Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing our paid search campaigns across Google and Microsoft (Bing) . This role requires an expert in paid search with a deep understanding of setting up accounts, campaigns, and configuring conversion actions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving successful campaigns and delivering measurable results. Additionally, they should be able to set up conversion tracking for e-commerce campaigns across different platforms with reporting in Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and Google Analytics for accurate ROAS calculations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and configure ad account billing and settings
• Structure campaigns effectively, including ad groups, keywords, targeting, and bidding strategies
• Configure conversion tracking and key events aligned with client goals
• Conduct continuous testing and data-driven optimization of keywords, bidding strategies, and ad copy
• Provide reports on campaign results and recommend actionable insights for improvement
• Stay updated on industry trends and algorithm changes, adjusting strategies accordingly to maintain competitiveness
• Collaborate with internal teams, including account managers and creatives, to align paid search efforts with overall marketing objectives

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or related field.
• 3-5 years experience in paid search campaign management, preferably in an agency environment
• Strong ability to configure conversion tracking for performance-focused lead generation and e-commerce campaigns

Skills and Abilities:

• Expertise in paid search and reporting platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and Google Analytics
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
• Excellent understanding of paid search best practices, including keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and landing page optimization
• Certifications in Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and Google Analytics are a plus
• Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering measurable results and ROI
