Director of Sales Training: Build a High-Performing Insurance Sales Team

We're looking for a motivated and experienced Director of Sales Training to lead the onboarding and ongoing development of our insurance sales team. You'll play a key role in our success by building a strong training culture that equips our agents, coordinators, and lead generators with the skills and knowledge to excel.

What You'll Do:

• Design and Deliver Winning Training Programs: Develop engaging training curriculums that cover sales techniques, insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and industry best practices. Utilize a variety of training methods, including classroom instruction, one-on-one coaching, eLearning, and carrier-specific training.
• Onboard New Team Members: Create a supportive and informative onboarding program that helps new hires ramp up quickly and achieve success.
• Coach and Mentor Sales Professionals: Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to agents and supervisors, focusing on skill development and performance improvement.
• Stay Ahead of the Curve: Monitor industry trends, identify training needs, and adapt programs to ensure our team has the latest knowledge and skills.
• Support Sales Management: Collaborate with the Sales Manager and General Manager to develop training strategies and track team progress.

You're a Great Fit If You Have:

• Solid Sales Training Background: Minimum 5 years of experience in sales training, preferably within the insurance industry.
• Product Expertise: Strong understanding of insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and carrier requirements (AMS, PL Rater, Bridge).
• Training Savvy: Proven ability to develop and deliver engaging training programs that effectively transfer knowledge and skills.
• Coaching and Development Skills: Experience in coaching and mentoring sales professionals to improve their performance.
• Excellent Communication Skills: The ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex information to a diverse audience.
• Positive and Motivational: A passion for helping others succeed and a positive attitude that inspires others.
