Conducts initial needs analysis to determine knowledge gaps and training needs. Being a Sales Training Director focuses on delivery and materials that provide effective, engaging, and results-driven training. Monitors participants' results and uses them to improve or enhance training and provide additional development programs. Additionally, Sales Training Director has strong knowledge and understanding of the organization's products, services, customers, competitors, and sales techniques. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Sales Training Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. As the sales functional leader, this person will lead the team in developing, deploying and enabling execution of national business plans that deliver the long-range plans, while aiming to grow our categories and share in All-Outlets. This role reports into the Burt's Bees general manager. In this role, you will: Business unit strategy: Leadership team member representing the customer organization in developing strategy, long range plans & innovation plans People: Coaches, develops, empowers team members (10-12) as appropriate. Develop individual capabilities to promote. Connected Customer Planning (CCP): Partners with Field Org to develop tailored Omni-Channel customer strategies and to build/optimize activation plans via Connected Customer Planning One Demand Plans (ODP): Co-develops 18mo One Demand Plans to deliver financial goals. Owns the deployment of plans to the customer organization (including funding) 18mo Plan Optimization: Continually works with Sales Planning & Field teams to manage Risks and Opportunities and input those into Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process What we look for: 10 years experience Sales Planning (Manager or higher) Direct customer management (preferably Leading Edge Retailer) Leading development of business plans to achieve business objectives Multi-year strategic planning (business and/or customer) Clorox financial & forecasting processes People Management & development Engagement and leadership across employee resource groups driving inclusion, diversity and allyship.
