Paddy O’ Furniture is determined to become the first successful national chain of brick and click patio specialty stores, and we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Trainer to play a pivotal role in enhancing our sales team’s skills and capabilities.
While there will be some classroom style training of new team members, the majority of the Sales Trainer’s time will be spent in our retail showrooms working hands on with our sales teams. As the Sales Trainer, you will monitor, provide instruction, and help practice every aspect of our sales process. We believe in offering the same great service, whether our visitors buy from us or not. Therefore, high-pressure closers need not apply.
Reporting to the Director of Sales and Training, the Sales Trainer will collaborate on the continued evolution of training content that aligns with our sales strategies and goals. You will provide ongoing coaching and support to our sales team members to reinforce training concepts and ensure skills become part of their daily activities. At the end of each day, you will complete a summary of the day’s activities along with commitments toward improvement from all stakeholders.
Candidates must have reliable transportation and the ability to visit all valley showrooms. Occasional out-of-market travel may be required. You must have exceptional energy and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with sales team members. You should be comfortable with POS software, and proficient in basic computer skills and Google Suite programs. Weekend availability is essential, as is the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
