Sales Director directs sales organization operations and develops the tactics, operational plans, and processes to implement the organizational sales strategy, drive revenue growth, and accomplish financial objectives. Establishes and implements processes, tools, and structures to support the sales organization's operations. Being a Sales Director oversees goal setting for departmental and group levels of the sales organization and uses data and technology to measure and monitor sales processes, identify issues, and enhance performance. Implements methods and systems to effectively analyze and monitor the industry, business environment, and competitors and expand the customer base. Additionally, Sales Director uses market and customer insights to collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and suggest new products. Builds effective sales and support teams with recruiting, mentoring, and development programs. May personally participate in or negotiate strategic or high-value sales. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Sales Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.   • The Managing Director, Value-Based Care Product & Strategy for Evernorth Accountable Care will be responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership to the Value Based Care Product portfolio. This role is key in ensuring that all value-based care products and services offered are based on a deep working knowledge of VBC reimbursement models and executed to advance quality outcomes for our customers, providers, and their patients. The role will also be responsible for clinical insights across operations, contracting and strategy. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Identifies customer problems and translates market and customer needs into commercial solutions offerings with defensible differentiation and competitive advantages. Leverages cross-functional teams and external solution/service providers to develop integrated solutions and service offerings. Understands and drives solutions/service features, functions, benefits, and pricing strategies, in collaboration with finance, analytics and operations teams. Leverages methodology to drive innovation and develop consistent deliverables throughout the solutions development lifecycle incorporating necessary cross-functional input options analysis for management decisions. Manages overall solutions/services portfolio and Capital budget. Recommends strategic metrics measure solutions/services effectiveness, profitability and impact and uses learnings to refine solutions/services offering. Client and Provider-Facing Clinical/Clinical Program Subject Matter Expert/Influencer for ENAC. Industry engagement across multiple external organizations. Communicate and align with ENAC leadership on efficient and effective support for solutions. Consult with Operations Team to integrate solutions within ENAC framework and business processes. Partner with Technology on Platform solution roadmap. Build solutions to enable Provider Contracting strategy. Expense Management to meet budget commitments. Drive lowest net cost/elevated level of service from all vendor contracts through negotiation. Ensure all vendor contracts are compliant with Risk-Based Supplier Management. QUALIFICATIONS: 12-16 years relevant experience with 10 years of relevant experience health care and Value based care. Experiencing supporting value-based care growth & strategy and the evolution of product, services, and technology. Detailed knowledge Health-care industry. Knowledge of current products and services. College Degree in Business Administration or related field. Master’s or Doctorate Degree preferred. Experience navigating a matrixed organization and collaborating with multiple cross functional teams and levels of employees and/or customers. Focus on excellent quality and customer service. Ability to think with an enterprise mindset and to continuously challenge the status quo. Demonstrated ability to motivate people and teams while raising performance levels year over year. Strong presentation skills with the ability to present on large platforms. Competencies/Behaviors: Demonstrated ability to develop overall big picture strategy, sequence and execute on the tactical initiatives to advance the strategy. Ability to influence Senior level leadership within and outside of the organization; must work well cross functionally.
