Risk Analyst evaluates the vulnerability of an organization's assets to determine the potential risk factors. Performs statistical analysis to quantify risk and forecast probable outcomes. Being a Risk Analyst prepares reports and presents findings to assist management with decision-making while offering solutions to minimize or eliminate risks. Monitors internal and external risk factors including economic, market, and regulatory risks to continuously maintain maximum protection of an organization's assets. Additionally, Risk Analyst supports managers in risk management or risk model construction. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Risk Analyst work is closely managed. GENERAL SUMMARY:
- Under the supervision of Director, System Risk Management, the Lead System Analyst is responsible for the technical aspects of software used to manage safety event and patient feedback reporting and investigation as well as report development and production to inform process improvements for patient and workforce safety.
- The Lead System Analyst is expected to interact regularly with other Quality-Risk staff and directors, HFHS administrative and clinical leadership, and Care Experience staff.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree with a health care, science or business focus and strong technical computer knowledge, or a Bachelor's degree in computer science with strong health care experience is required.
- Minimum of 1 - 2 years in a Healthcare or Business Setting required.
- Minimum of 2 - 3 years in a Healthcare or Business Setting preferred.
- Expert in the use of Microsoft Office products - Excel (e.g. ability to write macros, build pivot tables, etc.), Access, PowerPoint, Word. Experience in the use of a structured query language in a relational database.
- Experience in the use of HFHS Corporate Data Stores a plus.
- Experience in the use of a programming language also a plus.
- Experience with RL6 software a plus. Experience in SQL a plus.
- Experience in statistical software.
