RFP Manager oversees the development of proposals, bids, quotations, RFP responses, or other documents describing organizational products and services in response to requests from prospective clients. Manages and meets proposal deadlines by establishing project priorities and due dates for the proposal. Being an RFP Manager collaborates and coordinates with internal contributors and subject matter experts to ensure content is complete, accurate, and maximizes business opportunities. Develops and establishes a repository of templates, standard language, product collateral, exhibits, and other data resources to create high-quality and accurate responses. Additionally, RFP Manager establishes a tracking system with win-loss information. Reviews and analyzes RFP losses to recommend enhancements to products or processes. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The RFP Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an RFP Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.   • About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking an experienced Senior Business Execution Consultant to join the Merchant Services Product Marketing Team as an RFP Content Manager. This role is a key individual contributor to the Request for Proposal (RFP) team, leading the development and management of content to effectively respond to RFPs for Merchant Services products and services. This role reports to the Merchant Services Product Marketing leader and partners with Merchant Services sales, product, and account management teams to write, curate, and maintain compelling, accurate, and timely proposal content in our central repository of approved Merchant Services RFP content. The RFP Content Manager is responsible for ensuring ongoing compliance of all Merchant Services RFP content with various corporate and business policies and adherence to Legal and Compliance guidance. Our ideal candidate will have a blend of excellent business writing and project management skills, with the ability to leverage their strengths in content development as well as proposal management and coordination. Review, proofread, and check qualitative and quantitative content for effectiveness (e.g., clarity, readability, accuracy, persuasiveness, and compliance) as well as style (e.g., Wells Fargo brand standards and voice, grammar, punctuation, word usage, sentence structure, and spelling) to deliver a consistent brand experience across Wells Fargo’s lines of business. In conjunction with the Merchant Services RFP Proposal Manager, facilitate and manage development of well-designed RFP responses as needed. Required Qualifications: 4 years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education. Desired Qualifications: 3 years of RFP response writing and/or RFP proposal management experience Strong B2B business writing skills with impeccable attention to detail Ability to craft clearly written and effectively positioned content that makes complex technical subjects easy to comprehend and sets clear client expectations. Familiarity with overall RFP processes, contributors, timelines and best practices Extensive experience with formatting, reviewing and proofreading of materials for content accuracy, effectiveness, alignment with overall messaging strategies, and adherence to brand standards. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with leadership and collaborate with cross-functional subject matter experts. Highly organized with strong project management skills and a proven ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments; takes personal responsibility for producing deliverables under tight deadlines; works well under pressure in a rapidly changing environment while maintaining the highest quality standards. Team player and self-motivated with a strong work ethic who can work independently. Strong problem solver with analytical mindset and the ability to proactively research solutions, suggest resolutions, and recommend process improvements. Technical acumen to quickly learn and master software and platforms used to manage and streamline the RFP response process. Experience with B2B enterprise-level marketing communications, preferably in the financial services and/or payments industry. Pay Range: Concord & San Francisco CA: $100,800 - $179,200 Annually.
