Physician office is seeking an experienced Medical Revenue Cycle Manager.

The Revenue Cycle Manager (RCM) oversees a business office of about 7 employees but also collections and billings for 13 pain management clinics across Tennessee. A strong knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes is a must. The candidate must have a thorough understanding of insurance eligibility, EOBs, payor guidelines and Medicare LCDs. Duties include research, preparing appeals, claim submission, refunds, denial follow-up, and reporting. Makes outbound and receives inbound calls from patients and insurance companies. The candidate must have experience communicating via payor portals and working clearinghouse rejections. Promotes a team-oriented atmosphere.

RCM Qualifications:

• Education: Associates degree in related field or minimum 3 years physician office billing experience
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a physician office setting
• Excellent communication skills
• Equipment: Ability to operate standard office equipment
• Skills: Excellent customer service skills.
• Computer Programs: Proficient with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems (preferably eClinical Works and Athena), transmission clearinghouse systems (Gateway/TriZetto).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
