A premier entertainment destination in Arizona is seeking an experienced Risk Manager to develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive risk management programs. This role involves coordinating safety protocols, managing insurance and claims, and ensuring compliance with tribal and federal laws.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program Development: Develop and administer risk management and loss prevention programs, including Safety Plans, Emergency Action Plans, and Evacuation Plans.
• Risk Analysis: Conduct risk analyses, set goals, and evaluate risk management program effectiveness through annual reviews.
• Claims Management: Manage general liability and workers’ compensation claims, ensuring compliance with laws and policies. Liaise with attorneys, insurance companies, and individuals regarding incidents or tort claims.
• Team Coordination: Oversee the risk management team, coordinate with other departments, and conduct regular risk management/safety meetings.
• Training and Education: Provide training on safety protocols, risk management, and loss prevention. Ensure all team members adhere to safety regulations.
• Operational Oversight: Conduct regular walk-throughs of properties to identify and address safety risks. Maintain organization and cleanliness of all areas.
• Reporting and Communication: Advise the Director of Risk Management on risk-related matters, prepare reports, and recommend action plans to senior management.

Qualifications:

• At least five years of risk management experience at a supervisory level.
• OSHA 10-hour certification.
• Experience managing a workers’ compensation program in a large organization.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in a smoking environment and meet physical requirements.
• Employment eligibility in the U.S. and ability to obtain a valid gaming license.

• Preferred:
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 10 years of management experience in a risk management role.
• Certified Risk Manager designation.
• OSHA 30-hour certification and authorization as an OSHA trainer.
