Rental Quality Control Technician monitors overall quality of machines, and component repairs performed by the Service Department. Maintains records of results and prepares reports. Being a Rental Quality Control Technician requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Rental Quality Control Technician works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. EXPERIENCE:
Three years working experience in plastics industry and/or lab environment is preferred. Previous ISO experience also preferred, but not a requirement.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma is a minimum requirement. Any technical education, background, or degree is a plus.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Good oral and written communication and computer aptitude/skills, any testing equipment experience is a plus.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Manufacturing and warehouse conditions when retrieving samples and retains and working with the Operations department on quality-related matters. Standard lab conditions. Computer, testing equipment, and cutting tools are part of the daily environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Regularly required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. Required to pick up containers of product samples and product retains, approximately 40 lbs maximum and transporting them from the manufacturing floor to the internal labs via stairs when required.
