Reinsurance Specialist performs routine reinsurance administrative duties, such as maintaining records, processing and verifying new business. Organizes the preparation of monthly and annual reports and ensures reinsurance information has been recorded accurately. Being a Reinsurance Specialist performs reconciliation of premium billing statements and DAC tax calculations and maintenance of various reinsurance operations. Researches and resolves the more complex cases and provides guidance to others. Additionally, Reinsurance Specialist may review work performed by others and train new staff. Works towards industry designations (e.g., FLMI, ARA, ACS, etc.). Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Reinsurance Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Job Description
As a Field Service Mechanic with a focus on rotating equipment, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing various types of machinery. You will work on a wide range of equipment, including pumps, compressors, turbines, and more. This role requires a strong understanding of rotating equipment and the ability to troubleshoot and address complex mechanical issues.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on rotating equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct thorough equipment assessments to identify potential problems and develop solutions.
- Collaborate with customers to provide outstanding service and build strong relationships.
- Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical degree or certification in mechanical or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, and turbines.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to work in diverse industrial settings and varying conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
