Rehabilitation Director - Nursing Home jobs in Pennsylvania
Rehabilitation Director - Nursing Home directs the programs and staff of the rehabilitation services department for a nursing home. Develops and implements rehabilitation programs by working with the operational leadership team and medical staff. Being a Rehabilitation Director - Nursing Home sets and implements guidelines for rehabilitation programs such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. Responsible for the direction, planning, and operation of the rehabilitation function. Additionally, Rehabilitation Director - Nursing Home develops and implements policies and procedures regarding staffing and budget. May require an advanced degree. Typically reports to top management. May require a professional certification. The Rehabilitation Director - Nursing Home typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Our long-term care facility is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing with Registers Nurse valid license.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a passion for providing quality care to our residents.
Director of Nursing Key Duties
Ensuring all nursing staff provides quality resident care that meets or exceeds company and regulatory standards.
Will set objectives and long-term goals for the nursing department and will guide staffing procedures.
Director of Nursing ensuring compliance with local, state, federal regulatory standards.
Lead and or participate in Quality Improvement (QI) groups and other multidisciplinary meetings.
Perform other job-related duties as they become required.
Director of Nursing Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid RN license in the state of PA.
- CPR certification required.
- 2 years’ experience in long-term care or a related setting.
- 1 years’ experience in Nursing Service Administration.
