Refinery Operator controls equipment systems that process natural gas or petroleum into specified products. Responsibilities include monitoring pressure and flow and reading gauges and adjusting valves as needed. Being a Refinery Operator requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Refinery Operator works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Official working hours are 9:30am–6:30pm PST. However, hours can fluctuate depending on client requests, and may be staggered based on after-hours needs.
This position can be located in-office in Sherman Oaks, CA or remote. Applicants on PST preferred.
Salary Range:
$22-$28/hr
Rate offered will be dependent on factors such as one’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, and skillset.
