Recruiting Supervisor supervises the activities of the employment department. Oversees a company's recruiting programs, policies, and procedures to develop and utilize various sources of potential applicants to fulfill staffing needs. Being a Recruiting Supervisor reviews and approves content and placement of job postings in newspapers, magazines, trade or professional journals, or online media. Maintains relationships with and visits high schools, trade schools, colleges, job fairs, and related venues as part of recruiting efforts. Additionally, Recruiting Supervisor, a level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor. Job Description
Histology Supervisor - Henderson, Nevada
Job Details : Supervises and coordinates activities of laboratory personnel engaged in preparing histologic slides from human tissue sections for microscopic examination and diagnosis by Pathologist.
What you will need :
- Associate’s Degree in the field of Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory technology
- State licensure, if applicable.
- Board of Certification (BOC) by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Histology Technician or Histotechnologist and / or 2 years’ experience as a Histology Supervisor.
OR if Grossing :
Education / training equivalent to the above that includes at least 60 semester hours or equivalent from an accredited institution.
This education must include 24 semester hours of medical laboratory technology courses, or 24 semester hours of science courses that includes 6 semester hours of chemistry, 6 semester hours of biology, and 12 semester hours of chemistry, biology or medical laboratory technology in any combination.
