Recruiting Manager implements and manages processes to attract, evaluate, and refer candidates for open positions through recruiting website, employee referrals, on-site recruiting and other sourcing methods. Oversees an organization's recruiting program, policies, and procedures. Being a Recruiting Manager evaluates and communicates key metrics to recommend appropriate recruitment strategies and ensure positions are filled efficiently and effectively. Reviews and approves content and placement of advertisements and job postings. Additionally, Recruiting Manager secures appropriate resources for staff to be successful. Maintains relationships with schools, advertisement, and recruitment agencies. May be responsible for the recruitment process for senior level and executive positions. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Recruiting Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. This is a Hybrid Local-Remote position. Remote 2 days/week and onsite at the affiliate locations 3 days/week.
Under the direction of the NCH Systems Human Resources Director, handles recruitment for all locations of NCH, including researching, developing, and implementing effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. Develops relationships with managers to build awareness of their departments, hiring needs, and job specifications. Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria. Remains up to date with job boards, social networks, and platforms. Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details. Attends and participates in college career fairs and recruiting sessions. Manages the Applicant Tracking System, compensation, offers, pre-hire paperwork, orientation and onboarding duties, and other related duties as assigned. Works with managers to fill needs quickly and efficiently.
Essential Qualifications: Associate's degree in Human Resources or related field. In lieu of formal education, appropriate work experience may be substituted. Prior experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process is preferred. Prior experience in the human resources profession with experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Proficient Microsoft Office Skills (Outlook, Word, Excel). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics. Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles. Must be able to work independently. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.
