Position Summary
As a Recruiting Coordinator you will facilitate the recruiting and hiring processes by providing technical and logistical support to recruiters. You will ensure the satisfaction of hiring managers, candidates and new hires by providing responsive, high quality, professional service and support in the recruiting function. Additionally, in this position you will work to ensure the success of campus events through organization and logistics.
Responsibilities
Coordinating the hiring process with recruiters
Ensuring timely and accurate data entry into the applicant tracking system
Scheduling applicants for interviews and pre-employment testing
Coordinating travel arrangements for applicants
Monitoring the onboarding for new hires
Coordinating the background screening and drug screening processes
Recognizing and proposing solutions to improve the recruiting processes and workflows
Coordination of campus events to include, but not limited to, career fairs, information sessions, on campus interviews
Point of contact for colleges and universities regarding events on campus
Organizing campus recruiting calendar for Spring and Fall recruiting seasons
Utilize the Candidate Relationship Management tool to organize event schedule
Organize and facilitate yearly enterprise-wide internship day
Manage ad hoc recruiting projects such as reporting, researching universities and/or on-campus programs, market and/or industry research as needed
Working Conditions
Hybrid - Work will be performed from both remote and onsite locations after the onboarding period. However, hybrid employees should live within a reasonable commute to the designated Duke Energy facility.
Required/Basic Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
In addition to required degree, five (5) or more years related work experience, OR a Bachelor's degree and one (1) or more years of experience
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Event planning experience (ie. Career Fairs, Information Sessions, Resume Workshops, etc.)
High level user of Microsoft Office Products (ie: Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
Five (5) plus years ofadministrative experience or a four-year degree
At least 1 year of administrative experience within Human Resources, preferably in Talent Acquisition
Experience working with campus recruiting team
Experience with MS Office (e.g., Outlook, Excel, etc.)
Experience with applicant tracking systems (ie: Workday)
Understanding of/experience with recruiting processes
Experience as a Recruiting Coordinator or related role in an HR organization
Experience working with confidential information
Experience interfacing with upper management, peers and external vendors
Proven experience working in a detailed, deadline driven environment
A professional presence exhibiting tact, diplomacy, discretion and good judgment
Strong customer relationship skills
Effective written and oral communication skills
Ability to manage relationships at all levels of the organization
Ability to perform well under pressure
Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously
Experience working with a CRM (i.e. Avature, Yello, etc.)
