Prepares reports for patients' physicians describing individual patient symptoms and reactions to therapeutic programs. The Director of Park, Recreational and Public Services works under the general direction of the City Manager and is responsible for providing high level departmental management, administrative, human, and financial direction, as well as planning, development, and operation of the following municipal functions: parks, open spaces, trails, recreation, cemetery and mosquito control services, recreational programs, and facilities. Work involves analyzing and monitoring the effectiveness of programs and business operations and assuming responsibility for the management, planning and supervision of assigned municipal functions. The Director prepares revenue and expense requests for the department and is responsible for administration and oversight of recreation facilitates and programs within financial benchmarks established by city management. Directorship requires excellent leadership ability, great communication skills, effective decision making, strategic thinking, and the ability to effect change and provide direction in program planning, development, and implementation
