Recreation Coordinator (Intramurals) plans and directs the student, faculty, and staff recreation program including intramural and club sports. May be responsible for managing the maintenance of some facilities. Being a Recreation Coordinator (Intramurals) requires a bachelor's degree in recreation or related area. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Recreation Coordinator (Intramurals) occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma/GED required. College degree in recreation management or a related field preferred. Must have at least three years of experience in planning, development, and/or coordination of community-sized events. Three years of experience in administration preferred. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Must meet Park Board employment and physical standards, which includes a background check as well as drug and alcohol screening. Experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and aptitude to perform the defined duties.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to occasionally lift up to forty pounds as well as sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time. Work may also require occasional to frequent working around heights, climbing, crawling, crouching, bending, and stooping. Work also requires the ability to use moving equipment.
