Duties:- Work on all aspects of affordable housing transactional matters, including ground leases, corporate resolutions, and operating/partnership agreements.
- Draft and review federally-funded loan documents, multi-family permanent supportive housing management agreements, construction contracts, and subrecipient agreements.
- Ensure compliance with federal funding requirements and entitlements.
- Handle general real estate work related to commercial lending, development, acquisitions, and dispositions of real property.
- Conduct real estate closings on large commercial transactions.
- Review Texas title policies and surveys.
- Navigate local government procurement requirements and CDBG implementation programs.
- 7 years of experience in affordable housing and real estate law.
- Substantive legal experience in housing tax credits, public housing redevelopment, and HUD programs.
- Knowledge of Texas title policy and survey review.
- Familiarity with local government procurement requirements and CDBG implementation programs.
- Must be licensed to practice law.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Must have an active license to practice law.
- Strong legal drafting and research skills.
