What You'll Do

The Rating Account Representative is responsible for servicing an assigned set of accounts for a single line of business. This position acts as a point of contact between agents, insureds, inter-office departments, and workers’ compensation bureaus, as well as performs administrative and customer service duties regarding new and renewal accounts that will assist to ensure the operations and underwriting process is handled efficiently and accurately. This entry-level position offers a hybrid working schedule. After an initial training period, the hybrid schedule is a full week in the office, then a full week working remotely.

• Responsible for reviewing, quoting, issuing policy transactions, updating information, appropriately applying established policies and procedures, and meeting set time standards.
• Review new and renewal business to ensure proper documentation and coverages apply for assigned accounts.
• Process policy related transactions in accordance with company and bureau rules and time standards.
• Provide requested policy related information to agents and insureds.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure policy information is well maintained and shared.
• Keep accurate records and notes pertaining to policy changes.
