Radio Mechanic installs, maintains, and repairs radio transmitting and receiving equipment. May require an associate's degree or its equivalent and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Radio Mechanic has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Additionally, Radio Mechanic works under immediate supervision. Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with two-way radio vehicle installation and emergency vehicle upfitting.Duties:
- Install Motorola two-way radio equipment in vehicles
- Perform up-fitting to emergency vehicles
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Utilize hand tools for installation tasks
- Collaborate with service technicians on projects
- Ensure all installations meet industry standardsExperience:
- Prior experience in two-way radio installs or up-fitting vehicles preferred
- Familiarity with telecommunication systems
- Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems is a plusJob Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
