Radio Frequency Engineer develops products and technologies related to wireless telecommunications by applying RF and mixed signal capabilities.     How you'll make an impact:

    Provide management of assigned site development phases of the terrestrial repeater networks implementation of the DRU2 repeater conversion and associated equipment modifications. Collaborate with SXM management, engineering, leasing, and operation departments. Complete the project, including coordinating workers, material, and equipment; ensuring that specifications are being followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.

    What you'll do:

    • Plan, organize, and direct activities concerned with the physical modification of terrestrial repeaters.

    • Develop a cost-effective and efficient plan and schedule for resource utilization.

    • Select and coordinate the work of vendors/ suppliers/ subcontractors working on various phases of assigned projects.

    • Interpret and explain plans to administrative staff, workers, and clients, representing the owner or developer.

    • Track and control modification schedule and associated costs to achieve completion of project within allocated time and budget.

    • Oversee performance of all trade contractors and review design criteria, documents, and drawings to ensure that all specifications and regulations are being followed.

    • Ensure that all necessary permits and licenses are obtained.

    • Supervise assistants who are assisting with modification activities, review reports, follow up on any reported difficulties, and correct any safety violations or other reported deficiencies.

    • Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.

    • Develop and implement quality control programs.

    • Report to supervisor about progress and any necessary modifications to project plans.

    What you'll need:

    • Minimum of 7 years' experience in construction.

    • Minimum of 7 years' experience in telecommunication deployment.

    • Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

    • Ability to pay attention to details and be organized.

    • Ability to project a professional image over the phone and in person.

    • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

    • Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
