Quality Liquid Feeds, Inc is looking for team-oriented individual who has a passion for bringing value to their team. We are hiring an Inventory Control Specialist/Analyst –for our Liquid Feed Animal Nutrition Company at our Dodgeville, WI Corporate office. You will be responsible for working with the team to manage inventory controls and provide direction in the area of inventory processes, inventory variances and an inventory tracking system in a process manufacturing environment.  You will be charged with building relationships, open lines of communication and working collaboratively with our 17 Employer-owned manufacturing facilities, our logistics and procurement team, technical animal nutrition team, field sales team, finance team and our general office to secure an efficient and accurate inventory process

     

    What You’ll Be Doing:

    • You will help manage and maintain inventory records for all 17 Employer-owned facilities as well as our wholesale storage facilities.
    • You will build and ensure there is a collaborative work environment with the manufacturing team, efficient and accurate inventory processes, inventory checks, transparency in variances and variance solutions with manufacturing and the executive team.
    • Verify and review invoices, receiving records and purchasing entries
    • Collaborate with departments to provide timely and accurate information required by them to perform their jobs in a manner that promotes efficiency, accuracy, and teamwork:
    • Manage physical inventory close in the accounting system at month end and year end.
    • Provide monthly summary reports regarding inventory values and variances.
    • Review and approve payables for all ingredients purchased, as well as the freight associated with each purchase
    • Attend and contribute to various company meetings, if requested – National Sales Meeting, Regional Sales Meetings, etc.

     

    You’ll be a great fit if:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, mathematics and/or significant “in process manufacturing” inventory experience and supply chain management, preferably in the agriculture manufacturing environment.  (5 years of high-level experience preferred)
    • Exceptional organizational skills are a must,
    • Ability to work in and promote a team environment
    • Strong understanding of in process manufacturing environment, liquid products specifically.  We do NOT build little red wagons.
    • Demonstrated knowledge and proven successful experience in accounting, record keeping, phone, email, internet, Microsoft Word, Excel; along with exceptional verbal and written forms of communication.
    • Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, work under deadlines, and function well as part of a team. Must have strong analytical skills with experience in inventory management and the proven ability to build effective team relationships at all levels of the organization.
    • Must be able to travel on a limited basis by automobile and plane to complete physical inventory spot checks at our locations across the United States.
