Job Summary:
Oversees the operations, staff, policies, and procedures of the Purchasing Department. Responsibilities include ensuring that District personnel adhere to all Board and District policies related to purchasing to include all federal and state laws with regard to contracting, bidding, and purchasing of goods. Monitors contract compliance, vendor performance, and provides advice in regard to contractual matters. Provides strategic planning and management of District purchasing and contracting functions to include ensuring that procurement processes are effective, efficient, ethical, and provide the best possible value to the District.
