Psychologist - Ph.D jobs in Illinois
Psychologist - Ph.D evaluates patients for mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders. Diagnoses disorders, including nature and extent, and determines the appropriate course of treatment for the patient. Being a Psychologist - Ph.D uses talk therapy to treat patient illness or distress, cannot prescribe medication. Requires a PhD in clinical psychology. Additionally, Psychologist - Ph.D requires a valid state license to practice. Typically reports to a medical director. The Psychologist - Ph.D works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. The Position
As we continue to grow, we are looking for part-time and full-time licensed psychologists to work with both adult and geriatric patients in a skilled nursing, short term rehabilitation and/or assisted living settings. Our psychotherapy positions can include:- Work-life balance with weekday schedules

- A dedicated patient base and a consistent referral flow, eliminating the need to worry about referral volume.
- Collaborate with the skilled nursing facility’s integrated care team along with Vitae’s clinical team including adult nurse practitioners, psychiatric nurse practitioners, psychologists, LCSWs, and podiatrists.
- A balanced work-life schedule with flexible hours. No nights, weekends, or off-hours are required.
- Malpractice insurance coverage of $1 million/$3 million, provided by Vitae.
- Hold an active clinical psychologist license in the state.
