The Assistant Property Manager will assist in the day-to-day operations of our properties, ensuring efficient management and exceptional customer service. Duties:
- Assist with property leasing and tenant relations
- Conduct property tours and show available units to prospective tenants
- Process rental applications and perform background checks
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all necessary documents are properly filed
- Collect rent payments and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution
- Assist with move-in and move-out inspections
- Handle tenant inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and budgets
Experience:
- Previous experience in property management or real estate administrative role preferred
- Familiarity with property management software (e.g., OneSite, Yardi) is a plus
- Knowledge of Section 8 housing regulations and procedures is desirable
- Strong negotiation skills to handle lease agreements and contract negotiations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Exceptional customer relationship management skills
