Project Engineer - Construction provides technical oversight, review, and engineering analysis of construction projects to ensure compliance with time, budget, quality, and regulatory requirements. Reviews and approves specifications, designs, bids, contracts, drawings, change orders, and progress reports. Being a Project Engineer - Construction monitors project progress. Identifies and assesses engineering project risks, and develops mitigation strategies and solutions. Additionally, Project Engineer - Construction facilitates collaboration among project stakeholders, including architects, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. Typically reports to a manager. The Project Engineer - Construction work is closely managed. As Project Engineer, you hold a supporting role in working with our project team, holding responsibility of working the project from inception to close with detailed knowledge of each project phase and process. The Project Engineer is the central hub of communication for the entire project team, including owner, architect, engineer, subcontractors project manager and superintendent. The most critical role of the Project Engineer is that of information exchange. You make sure all questions are answered and all those answers are distributed to the team in the field and to the owner representatives.
Supported by estimators and project accountants, our Project Engineers enjoy a well of resources to help make critical data driven decisions. The Project Engineer is an integral part of the construction life cycle, and has a heavy impact on the success of each project.

You Qualify For This Position If You- Can Assist Superintendents, Project Managers & Project Executives
- Log, Transmit & Distribute Submittals
- Maintain RFI Logs
- Assist with Production & Distribution of Owner Correspondence
- Coordinate the subcontractor maintenance of As-Built Documents
- Adhere to Quality Assurance practices
- Monitor Productivity Tracking
- Assist Project team with Subcontract Administration through Viewpoint software
- Work with Project Manager to develop skills working toward becoming a Project Manager
