Role Overview:

As a Social Media Specialist, your goal will be to achieve superior customer engagement, drive website traffic, and increase revenue by leveraging the full potential of social media marketing. You will strategically navigate the social media landscape, understanding each platform's nuances to optimize content for maximum engagement.

Job Requirements:

Education Level: Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field; equivalent experience in these fields is also considered.

Experience: 1-3 years of proven experience in social media marketing. Recent graduates with relevant experience are welcome to apply.

Skills:

• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
• Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Team-oriented mindset with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in project management and presentation skills.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Sprout Social, Mailchimp, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Manage and expand social media presences across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok Threads, YouTube).
• Develop and execute comprehensive organic social media marketing strategies.
• Monitor social media channels, engage with followers, and respond to inquiries.
• Participate in relevant conversations to promote brand awareness and "soft sell" products.
• Analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies to improve performance.
• Collaborate with the marketing team and clients to curate and publish diverse content, aiming to enhance brand awareness, drive inbound traffic and engagement, and improve customer retention and acquisition.
• Stay updated on social media and email marketing trends, as well as emerging digital technologies, integrating best practices from both for-profit and non-profit sectors.
• Regularly analyze audience metrics and engagement data to optimize campaigns for maximum impact and effectiveness.
• Create compelling, brand-safe custom content for all clients.
• Meet and surpass established KPIs for respective accounts.
• Be available for regular in-person meetings with clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
