    The Senior Director, Enterprise Project Management Office (PMO) is responsible for successfully leading strategic and tactical program and project teams across the organization in support of Tenet’s business objectives and needs. This role collaborates with Tenet executive, senior and mid-level leaders to set the strategic goals of how the PMO will manage programs and projects to achieve specific business objectives; leads the PMO team to perform as a Center of Excellence for program and project management by expecting exceptional performance using industry standard practices and toolkits; achieves efficiency in performance by blending the most effective project management methodologies and incorporating a globalized model into the EPMO structure. This role has direct management responsibility for a team of program and project managers, as well as ownership of the associated budget and annual business planning.

    CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE, ATTRIBUTES AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

    Tools:

    • Microsoft products such as Outlook, Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
    • Visio or equivalent process mapping tool
    • Service Now Project Management or experience with equivalent project management tool
    • Apptio financial management or experience with equivalent financial management tool

    Requirements:

    • 7 – 10 years as a Director leading progressively more complex and large-scale initiatives
    • Strong knowledge of financial principles related to capital vs operating expense required
    • Experience leading multiple programs in excess of 80 projects simultaneously
    • Experience managing budgets of at least $10M
    • An industry standard process management certification is desired. (College degree of same specialty may be substituted) Example certifications such as:
      • Project Management Institute’s Project Management or Agile Professional
      • Lean Six Sigma
    • Experience in for-profit healthcare delivery organizations highly preferred
    • Experience working in Fortune 100 companies preferred
    • A master’s degree in project management, healthcare or computer science is preferred.

    Compensation:

    A competitive compensation program will be tailored to the selected candidate. Base salary will be supplemented by a performance bonus and comprehensive, well-rounded benefits program, which includes relocation assistance.

    Travel:

    Travel is estimated about 25% of the time.
