Professor - Physical Therapy jobs in Montana
Professor - Physical Therapy teaches courses in the discipline area of physical therapy. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being a Professor - Physical Therapy provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Physical Therapy typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students. Job Description
This job is to assist the therapists with the treatment and flow of patients. It is important that the patients be taken care of promptly and efficiently.
It includes coordinating with the therapists on how the treatment of the patient is coming along and when and who is ready for them to treat.
They will need to have good time management skills in order to keep things running smoothly, in an orderly fashion and able to follow direction.
There will be floor duties such as patient care, cleaning and laundry. They will need to be capable of helping the therapist instruct patients on home and in office exercises.
