Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students.     We have an excellent opportunity for an early career Environmental Scientist in our Lincoln, Nebraska office.

    What you will do:

    The early career Environmental Scientist will assist in the planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases for a wide range of multidisciplinary environmental projects for a variety of government and commercial clients.

    Specific responsibilities include:

    • Site characterization and remediation (SCR).
    • Groundwater sampling.
    • CERCLA and RCRA-type site assessments and remedial activities.
    • Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments.
    • Prepare, implement, analyze, and report on environmental restoration and remedial actions with associated fieldwork.

    What you will need:

    • B.S. degree in Environmental Science or related field.
    • 0 - 3 years of related experience.
    • Strong technical writing skills.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.
    • Ability to travel for fieldwork.
    • Ability to complete 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER (upon employment).
    • Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
