Production Scheduler jobs in New Jersey

Our client is looking to add a Production Scheduler to their team for their growing ingredient manufacturing company! This candidate will plan, schedule, and coordinate the flow of products through the complete production candidate. The ideal candidate should have 5-8 years with coordinating between warehouse and purchasing on material shortages and coordinating delivery of parts. This position is a full-time role and will be fully onsite in Budd Lake , NJ.

Responsibilities:

• Review open sales orders to determine customer requirements
• Coordinate delivery of parts to expedite flow of material to meet production schedule
• Utilize ERP system to auto‐generate manufacturing work orders
• Release manufacturing work orders to the warehouse for kit picking
• Coordinate between warehouse and purchasing on material shortages
• Notify Sales of any schedule impacts to customers
• Coordinate/expedite manufacturing builds to ensure schedules are achieved
• Completes status reports, such as production progress, customer information and materials inventor

Required Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelors' degree or relatable work experience in logistics, supply chain
• 5-10 years experience
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
