Production Painter jobs in Arizona
Production Painter operates a spray painter or other equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metals or products. Mixes paints and other solutions and monitors drying to ensure desired results. Being a Production Painter completes finishing with baking, polishing or other materials. Follows all required safety procedures. Additionally, Production Painter may paint items by hand as needed. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to supervisor/manager. May require an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. The Production Painter possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. - Mask and cover as required to protect adjacent surfaces.
- Mix, carry and apply paints to walls, ceilings and trim.
- Brush, roll and spray items requiring coating.
- Hand or machine mask for ceilings.
- Clean, protect, move materials, tools and equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
- Organized, detailed and deadline oriented.
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period.
- Must have interior and exterior painting experience
