Summary Statement
The incumbent is responsible for assisting with supervising staff who prepare and process collections-related documents, including distributing, and assessing the work of staff.
Work includes assisting staff in applying state and federal tax laws to cases; reviewing taxpayer accounts to ensure collection of the outstanding balance due;
assisting with reviewing and approving judgement and garnishment documents; identifying and resolving errors; and responding to taxpayer concerns.
In addition, the incumbent will develop and implement training programs to provide staff with the knowledge needed to process documents.
