Production Control Director manages the overall strategic and tactical production control planning, scheduling, flow of materials, and monitoring to achieve goals and objectives for delivery dates, output quality, volume, cost, and optimization. Oversees scheduling and the development of methods to allocate and control resources and materials effectively. Being a Production Control Director establishes monitoring tools and processes to identify and plan for problems with waste, inefficiencies, and inventory in production operations. Recommends improvements to production technology and processes. Additionally, Production Control Director collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to develop effective planning methodologies and best practices. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Production Control Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Production Control Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     PCU is hiring someone for our electrical assembly department. This is a dual role position, wiring electrical enclosures and final wiring of capital equipment. You will be part of an assembly team that builds equipment from provided drawing package.

    Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions and to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and diagrams

    • Wiring experience in but not limited to following items.
    • Basic electrical practices
    • NFPA 79 electrical standards
    • Rigid conduit (threading and assembling)
    • Soldering (preferable, not required)
    • Skill in the use and care of tools and equipment of the electrical trade. (hand drills, heat guns etc.)
    • Tests, locates, and repairs electrical troubles in electrical circuits and equipment.
    • Installs conduits, wires, pull boxes, and switches required in making additions, extensions, or alterations in electrical systems.
    • Accurately complete all documentation required.
    • Provides input and support documenting print changes as needed.
    • Work closely with engineering, technicians, and sales teams in coordination of information to assure schedules and budgets are met.
    • Provide daily feedback to Supervisor regarding status of projects.
    • Handle electrical voltages (480 VAC/24 VDC) safely in accordance with company and industry standards.
    • Perform assigned duties and conduct themselves in a professional manner in accordance with company required safety practices and procedures.
