Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Winchester, VA. The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new opportunities for the company, maintaining relationships with existing customers, and developing and implementing strategies to grow the business.
Position responsibilities:
· Develops new business by analyzing account potential; initiating, developing, and closing sales; recommending new applications and sales strategies
· Implements sales strategies
· Seeks new business and customer development
· Maximizes sales performance by growing existing relationships
· Identifies potential in accounts by studying current business
· Performs in-depth market research and presents them in a visual manner
· Prepares sales forecasts and budgets
· Negotiates terms for price increases and decreases
· Communicates with customers in a prompt manner
· Responds to external and internal queries
Required skills and qualifications:
· Strong sales and business development skills
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills
· Ability to develop and implement new business strategies
· Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships
· Ability to work autonomously and self-driven
· Experience in the food and beverage industry is preferred
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
· Willingness to travel as needed to pursue business opportunities
