Job Description

Independently leading accounting functions for an established and growing product engineering and manufacturing firm in the North Dallas area specifically working within the platform "GSS" Global Shop Solutions: ERP Software for Manufacturers. **Accounting experience with GSS strictly required - applicants without will not be reviewed**

Responsibilities

• Drives small business accounting numbers with assistance and support from the Office Manager and ownership. Supported by an outsourced accounting contractor for overflow, emergencies, and/or coverage.
• AP, light AR, balancing, P&L, expense reconciliation
• Coordinates POs and invoices with production team balancing received product with billed invoices
• Partners with Purchasing for questions and edits for billing
• Job costing
• Supervises daily and period-closing activities during the monthly close process
• Review and approve bank and balance sheet account reconciliations, financial reports, and variance analysis
• Coordinates responses to internal teams
• Provide month-end and year-end financials to Ownership
• Prepare monthly distribution calculations and initiate payment requests
• Provide weekly cash position reports to owners and coordinate payments including wire and ACH requests
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience with GSS required
• Manufacturing experience strongly preferred
• 3 years minimum of desk experience in Accounting required (no entry-level availabilities at this time)
• Salary range is wide DOE as we narrow in on the responsibility of the role and the resumes received. We are building out the position - it could be intermediate, or it could be executive depending on the response rate.
