Product Development Manager manages the staff, resources, and processes required to implement the vision and strategy for new product development and product lifecycle management of existing products. Incorporates research and concept development projects and capabilities with market analysis, industry intelligence, and customer monitoring to support product roadmaps and innovate new products, enhancements, and redesigns. Being a Product Development Manager coordinates with internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and manufacturing, to ensure that new and existing products meet development targets and support the organization's financial goals. Develops teams with the knowledge and expertise to fulfill product development objectives. Additionally, Product Development Manager typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Product Development Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Product Development Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. We are seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to become an integral part of our team! You will work for our Novotics and SICO Systems Control divisions of Daburn. Novotics and SICO provide control and automation solutions for various equipment and plant processes.
We are looking for an Electrical Controls Engineer with practical experience in the industrial controls field and experience in PLC and HMI programming.
Requirements/Experience:
Minimum 2 Years Experience In Industrial Controls And Automation
Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens PLC and HMI programming
Analog controls and PID Loops (instrumentation)
Motor controls (motor starters and VFDs)
Able to work independently or as a team member
Primary Responsibilities:
Design control systems per customer specifications
PLC and HMI programming
Test & troubleshoot control systems
Write functional specifications and user manuals
Prepare purchase orders for project-related parts and equipment
Assist sales in technical issues and quotations
Field start-up and customer assistance
Able to travel (less than 10% per year)
Desirable experience:
AutoCAD
National Electric Code (NEC)
UL508A/CSA standards
Knowledge of Ethernet networks
