Product Development Analyst jobs in Washington

Come lead the product direction for individual software development that improves the satisfaction and productivity of all Amazon software teams! As Principal Product Manager - Tech, you will work with Amazon software builders as customers to define and deliver products (development tools, IDE integrations) that streamline the software development process, helping software teams world-wide deliver more software, faster.

As a leader in our software tools organization, you will work closely with multiple development teams and our UX team to ensure a delightful development experience.

Key job responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include :

• Collect data and feedback on the individual development process (i.e., rapid develop / test loops before code review)
• Own the definition and customer validation of Amazon-wide development tools that improve the software development workflow
• Collaborate with development teams to align on tool improvements, priority, and delivery timeline
• Work directly with software teams as customers to ensure their success

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience owning / driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience technical product management
• 7 years of technical product or program management experience
• Experience working on products with software developers as customers.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
• Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
