Product Design Director manages and coordinates design, development, and enhancement of new and existing products/product lines. Evaluates and ensures design feasibility and design optimization. Being a Product Design Director assists in the determination of project milestones and timelines. Ensures team meets project milestones and completes projects within the established timeline. Additionally, Product Design Director evaluates issues, provides resolution, and communicates to management. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Product Design Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Product Design Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. onX is committed to compensating all employees fairly and equitably for their contributions. The pay range for any position will vary based on experience, skills, certifications, and education among other factors as required in the job description. In addition, full-time onX employees are eligible for a grant of common share options with a vesting schedule and a potential annual bonus of 10% based on company performance.
