Product/Brand Management Director manages, develops, and oversees the implementation of marketing activities to maximize sales of a brand. Analyzes brand performance, brand competitiveness, and product trends in the marketplace and develops marketing strategies for a brand. Being a Product/Brand Management Director reviews marketing metrics to determine the effectiveness and value of marketing strategies or campaigns. Leads the development, curation, and deployment of marketing content and identifies effective sales channels. Additionally, Product/Brand Management Director translates marketing initiatives into specific projects and actionable plans. Works with management and team leaders to identify and implement appropriate sales strategies or improve direction for current campaigns. Ensures product and brand initiatives are consistent and support the organization's public image. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Product/Brand Management Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Product/Brand Management Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     POSITION(S) THAT REPORT TO YOU: Administrative/Meeting Manager, Communications/Membership Manager

    EXEMPT/NON-EXEMPT EMPLOYEE STATUS: Exempt (Minimum of 37.5 hours per week)

    GENERAL SUMMARY:

    Closely monitors association activities and provides important decision-making information to association leadership. Provides professional direction and support for all client activities, projects, meetings and campaigns.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (Minimum of 37.5 hours per week):

    • Manage the grant/fundraising development for CSRO.
    • Oversee implementation of strategic goals as directed by Board president.
    • Oversee legal responsibilities of the organization (taxes, bylaws, contracts, etc.).
    • Oversee financial activities, including payment of invoices, budget preparation, monthly financial records, annual audit, etc.
    • Supervise day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the association.
    • Oversee development and publication printed materials and other communications (broadcast emails, faxes, mail, etc.) to members.
    • Oversee committee infrastructure and activities.
    • Oversee maintenance and updates of the client website.
    • Coordinate agendas and other materials for Board meetings and conference calls.
    • Attend and facilitate in-person Board meetings.
    • Attend and facilitate committee conference calls.
    • Take and distribute minutes of Board and committee meetings and conference calls.
    • Attend the Rheumatology Fellows education meeting and provide support and staff oversight for all related functions.
    • Represent CSRO at related meetings when appropriate.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    AMOUNT OF TRAVEL REQUIRED:

    Approximately 15 days per year.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    Bachelor’s degree or professional experience in a related field and excellent written and verbal skills.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    (lifting, packaging, etc.) Minimal lifting required. Ability to move quickly within meeting facilities.

    • This position is located in downtown Milwaukee, WI and a minimum of two days onsite in the office (including Wednesday as an all-staff-in-office day) are a requirement of the role.
