ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Utilize an on-line workflow software to manage the packaging design approval process for all branded and
private label products.
Work effectively with all workflow participants to gain quick approvals as needed through the process to
keep things moving on a condensed timeline.
Utilize graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator to edit .ai files and generate .pdf files for various
packaging designs.
Utilize graphic design software to generate 3D images of a packaging item (can, bag, etc.) with the updated
label or design applied.
Interface with various internal departments (such as Purchasing, Marketing and R&D) as well as external
suppliers (creative design firms, pre-press companies, label printing companies, etc.) to gather, document
and communicate information regarding packaging requirements and details.
Manage the file structure for all active, archived and pending digital assets, ensuring that the correct files
are being used on press by our packaging printers.
Work with packaging printers to establish printing standards and enforce compliance to those standards.
Audit invoices from pre-press companies to ensure that billing is correct.
