What You Will Do

• Ensures MPG standards are met for all internal and external customer interactions regarding inclusion, mutual respect, and teamwork.
• Communicates and interacts with internal and external customers to inform, educate, and receive feedback on the process throughout production and during audits.
• Responsible for the development, performance, and coaching of direct reports, including training and performance evaluations.
• Coordinates the work activities of direct reports, ensuring that client expectations are met or exceeded by monitoring quality and efficiencies.
• Ensures all necessary resources, including staffing and equipment, are available to meet productivity and continues improvement goals.
• Assists Slitter Departmental Manager in the identification and implementation of short- and long-range goals and operational plans in order to achieve departmental objectives and increasing overall efficiencies.
• Utilizes reports to manage charge of assignments, throughput, and other productivity measures. Analyzes and summarizes various performance metrics, including, but not limited to, volumes, job requests, and performance metrics.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring

• 5 years of related experience in a Supervisory or Managerial capacity in printing, packaging, manufacturing, or similar environment is desired.
• Requires High School diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's Degree in Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, or other Continuous Improvement type training is desired.
• Ability to lead effectively, including establishing, building, and sustaining high performing work groups
• Ability to analyze, problem-solve, and drive results
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong mentorship skills
• Ability to read, write, and speak English is required.
• Bilingual English Spanish is preferred.

• Highly proficient in basic computer skills (Outlook/e-mail, Excel, Word); Working knowledge of PowerPoint and Visio is preferred.
