As a Patrol Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of our premises, enforcing laws, and providing assistance to the public.     Responsibilities:
    - Conduct regular patrols of the city of Lathrop, MO to deter criminal activity and ensure the safety of individuals and property.
    - Respond promptly to calls for service and emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary.
    - Enforce laws and regulations, including traffic laws, by issuing citations or warnings when necessary.
    - Conduct thorough investigations of criminal incidents, gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses as needed.
    - Write detailed reports documenting incidents, observations, and actions taken.
    - Provide assistance to the public by answering questions, giving directions, and offering support in various situations.
    - Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.
    - Demonstrate effective conflict management skills when dealing with difficult or confrontational individuals.
    - Utilize knowledge of law enforcement procedures and techniques to ensure public safety.
    - Possess the ability to perform CPR and administer first aid when required.
    - Handle animals in a safe and humane manner when responding to animal-related incidents.

    Requirements:
    - High school diploma or equivalent.
    - Completion of a certified law enforcement training program (Class A or B POST license).
    - Valid driver's license with the State of MO.
    - Strong written and verbal communication skills for report writing and effective communication with colleagues and the public.
    - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    - Demonstrated leadership abilities in previous roles or experiences.
    - Proficient in criminal investigation techniques and evidence collection procedures.
    - Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
    - Must be physically fit and able to meet the physical demands of the job.
