Plant Manager directs a plant or production facility's overall operations. Sets and implements policies and procedures that guide plant operations' productivity, quality, and cost efficiency. Being a Plant Manager utilizes operational metrics to analyze productivity and set performance targets to achieve production goals. Develops and deploys manufacturing practices focused on quality and continuous improvement. Additionally, Plant Manager develops and implements plant safety and security inspections, auditing, and training procedures to meet OSHA and other required regulations. Collaborates with multi-functional plant teams, including finance, engineering, materials, quality assurance, and human resources. Leads or participates in labor relations negotiations and engages with union leadership involving plant operations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering or equivalent. Typically reports to senior management. The Plant Manager manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Job Summary:
Plant Prefab is seeking an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to build and drive Plant’s outreach to developers and their project development influencers. The goal of this position is to develop new projects with these key B2B audience segments, introducing them to our value proposition and giving them confidence to build smarter with Plant. When these new clients experience the benefits of working with us, we expect ongoing business from successive projects. This position will be based in our Tejon Ranch, CA office and report to SVP of Business Development.
