WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Discharge and Aftercare Arrangements Arranges for discharge and aftercare.
• Admission, Progress & Procedure Notes Composes or dictates admission, progress and procedure notes and discharge summaries.
• Patient Assessment Conducts initial and ongoing assessment of patient's medical, physical and psychosocial status.
• Patient Assessment & Treatment Plans Develops patient assessment and treatment plans.
• Patient Care Orders tests, examinations, medications, and therapies
• Rounds & Patient Care Performs hospital rounds. Presents medical problems and treatments of patients as a method of inpatient care and medical education.
• Procedures & Surgery Support Performs procedures and surgeries under the privileges of an attending physician under direct or indirect supervision as appropriate to PGY level and discipline
• Patient Education Provides patient education and counseling covering health status, test results, disease processes, and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Required Doctorate
• Required Physician License (DR)
