Description PM Pediatrics is actively expanding and looking for additional PEM physicians and pediatricians with urgent care experience to join our team; which includes over 60 PEM providers. Under the guidance of the Medical Director, physicians are responsible for evaluating and providing evidence-based treatment to pediatric patients in an urgent care setting. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Performing procedural care (abscess drainage, laceration repair with sutures, staples, and dermal adhesive, and foreign body removal) Assessment and treatment of acute injury Assessment and treatment of acute illness; including but not limited to anaphylaxis, procedural anxiolysis, respiratory distress, croup, and asthma care Providing preliminary interpretation of x-rays with official radiology over-reads Oversight of trainees and co-signing of APP's charts Manage a busy, fast-paced workflow Qualifications PM Pediatrics looks for people who are motivated, energetic, and passionate about pediatric healthcare and believe in our mission.
